Nordlo Växjö & Ljungby currently has 108 employees working at our offices in Växjö and Ljungby. We are now looking for a senior network technician based in Växjö.

Profile:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated senior network technician with expertise in data center and core network environments. You are an analytical and solution-oriented person who enjoys working both independently and in teams. With your technical expertise and service-oriented approach, you ensure stable and secure operations for both internal systems and our customers.

Description:

As a senior network technician, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, optimization, and development of our central network infrastructure in data center and core environments. You will also work on advanced troubleshooting, security enhancements, as well as planning and executing strategic network projects. Part of the job also includes customer-facing technical efforts and consulting.

We expect you to have experience as follows:

We are looking for someone with solid experience as a network technician, with in-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalls in mission-critical environments. You have worked with advanced network design, troubleshooting, and optimization in data center and core networks.

You are accustomed to handling complex network environments and have experience working with redundancy, security, and performance improvements. Experience with automation tools and scripting is a plus.

As our customer contacts are in both Swedish and English, you should be able to handle this fluently in both spoken and written form.

The following skills, abilities, and experiences are necessary to perform this role:

• Deep technical expertise in networking – Experience in design, installation, configuration, and support of network infrastructure in mission-critical environments.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and security – In-depth understanding of network protocols, redundancy solutions, and security principles.
• Experience with firewalls and security solutions – Configuration and management of firewalls and security features such as VPN, IPS/IDS, and segmentation.
• Basic understanding of server environments and virtualization – Familiarity with Windows Server and virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Ability to automate and streamline network operations – Experience with scripting and network automation is a plus.
• Service-oriented and solution-focused attitude – Ability to see things from the customer's perspective and deliver high-quality solutions.

Desirable skills:

• Experience with Linux and network administration in Linux environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, NSE, or equivalent.
• Experience working with multiple major network vendors, including enterprise and data center solutions (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, or Juniper).
• Knowledge of SDN, network automation, and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, or Bash).
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing network performance.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
